Restless leg syndrome is an uncomfortable disorder that affects the legs and the mind. The symptoms get worse at night, and have been described by sufferers as the legs pulling you to move, even if your mind isn’t interested in moving.
Generally, symptoms begin 15 minutes after you lie down or when you’ve been stationary for long periods of time (like in a plane or car).

One can be diagnosed with RLS at any point in their lives, though it becomes more common as people age. RLS often develops in pregnant women. Generally, the condition leaves within a month after giving birth.
Though there are no medications on the market to treat RLS, many medicines are prescribed to treat symptoms. In addition to the prescription pills, there are restless leg syndrome home remedies.
